Job Details
Coordinate daily food manufacturing schedules, equipment line setup, and volume production output quotas.
Enforce plant safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality control metrics on the assembly floor.
Supervise, onboard, and manage shift schedules for a team of approximately 20 food production operators.
Track manufacturing machinery uptime and partner with maintenance engineers to resolve mechanical issues rapidly.
Conduct objective annual floor staff performance reviews and deliver standardized skills training updates.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in industrial food production, manufacturing line supervision, or food plant operations.
Deep operational knowledge of FDA food safety standards, GMP, and HACCP compliance frameworks.
Conversational to business-level English communication skills to direct factory floor employees.
Business-level Japanese language proficiency to manage technical reporting for corporate leadership.
High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Food Science or Business preferred.
