Job Details
Maintain and expand relationships with existing commercial clients, including Japanese restaurants, Asian grocery stores, and food distributors.
Identify target market opportunities, conduct cold calls, and conduct client visits to generate new business opportunities across Southern California.
Present product catalogs, introduce new Japanese food items, and organize product tastings for culinary clients.
Process sales orders, coordinate shipment logistics with warehouse teams, and monitor delivery schedules to ensure customer satisfaction.
Monitor market trends, gather competitor pricing intelligence, and report field observations to management.
Participate in regional food expos, trade shows, and promotional events to enhance brand visibility.
Requirements
1-3 years of sales, customer service, or account management experience, preferably in the food/beverage or retail industry.
Business-level Japanese language skills to effectively liaise with Japanese vendors, corporate management, and clients.
Professional English communication skills for negotiating contracts and conducting sales presentations with local buyers.
Valid U.S. Driver's License.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic CRM/sales software.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric attitude.
